wherescarlettneverfell: Zvanì was born in Richmond, Virginia, descending from the Edmondses of Accomack County and the Charltons of Monroe County. A translator and interpreter who lives in Milan, as a young man he emigrated to Northern Italy where he studied Byzantine history, mosaic, and fresco at Ravenna’s Accademia di Belle Arti. His current work in progress is an English translation of Vamba’s Il Giornalino di Gianburrasca (The Journal of Johnny Storm).
